As many of you know, we adopted a puppy recently (see exhibit A below) and she has stolen our hearts…and eaten our shoes…..and pillows….and wall….. And while I have wanted to do a doggy promotion forever, it seems even more fitting now that we are doggy parents ourselves.
What better way to celebrate the “Dog Days of Summer” than with doggy photos. It’s time for our four legged friends to get thier close-ups. Better yet, we are donating $25 from every session to Lifeline Puppy Rescue to help them continue the wonderful job they do. Established in 1993, Lifeline has adopted almost 20,000 puppies to families across the Rocky Mountain Region, Kansas, Texas, and New Mexico.

Converse… They were popular when I graduated high school… Er… Um… A long time ago, and they are still popular today – for good reason. They look great with jeans, great with skirts, great with suits, great with shorts…. they may just be the world’s most perfect footwear! We see cons more often than any type of shoe and no matter the outfit, we LOVE them! Face it – they come in every color of the rainbow, they look great brand-new or beat up, and if throw you on top of a bunch of tires, you are less likely to fall off than if you are wearing five inch heals. So there it is, our ode to cons…. love them, wear them, BRING THEM!

So my dear friend Tennille King does YouTube Tuesdays on her blog….and I loved the idea so much that I had to “borrow” it from her (with her permission of course)….and I knew the perfect video to start with. wow….so Mother’s day is THIS Sunday – seriously, where has this year gone? As we do every May, it is time to honor the relationship between Mommies and thier kiddos. For our Mommy and Me sessions, we really focus on that amazing bond – we snuggle, we tickle, we hug….we have fun….and we celebrate being moms! Here’s a little hint too – these photos make great Father’s day gifts.
So to all of you mommies, HAPPY MOTHER’S DAY! To my mommies – Mom and Grams – from the depths of my soul, for all you have given me, all you have taught me, all the ways in which you have shown me to LIVE – a special mom’s day wish to you both — miss you both so very much. And to my little Man, my light, my heart – I’m so lucky to be your Mom!!!!
So after that sappiness that just poured from my fingers….you probably want to know what we’re doing, huh?
